If you are experiencing lag or slow performance, please follow these steps in order to get your game running smoothly again!
1. Close Background Apps
Running too many apps at once can slow down your experience. Close all other apps and keep only PetKart open to see if performance improves.
β iOS Users
- iPhone X or later: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle. Swipe up on each app preview to close it.
- iPhone 8 or earlier: Double-click the Home button and swipe up on the app previews to close them.
β Android Users
- Tap the Recent Apps button (usually a square icon or three vertical lines at the bottom of your screen).
- Tap Close All or swipe the apps away individually.
- For a deeper clean, go to Settings > Apps, select the app, and tap Force Stop.
2. Restart Your Device
A quick restart can clear out temporary memory issues and give your device a fresh start.
β iOS Users
- Press and hold the side button (and either volume button on newer models) until the power-off slider appears.
- Slide to power off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
β Android Users
- Press and hold the Power button until the menu appears.
- Select Restart.
3. Check Your Connection and Settings
- Finally, check your internet connection, speed limit, and system requirements.
β Internet Connection
A weak signal can cause the game to stutter. Try toggling your Wi-Fi off and on, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see which is more stable. If you have reached your data speed limit for the month, the game may not load properly.
β System Requirements
Your device must meet the minimum requirements to run PetKart optimally. If your device is low on storage or RAM, the game may exit unexpectedly. Please check our guide on "Recommended Devices" to ensure your hardware is ready for the track.
